Night vision - RM5752

 

The baby unit has infrared LEDs that allow you to see your baby clearly at night or in a dark room. When the infrared LEDs are on, the images are in black and white, and  night_mode.pngappears on the screen.

 

Turn on or off night vision

1. Press menu_select.png when the parent unit is idle.

2. Press arrow_up_190717.pngarrow_down_190717.pngarrow_left_190722.png or arrow_right_190722.png to choose menu_general.bmp, then press menu_select.png

3. Press arrow_down_190717.png or arrow_up_190717.png to choose Camera setting, then press menu_select.png.

4. Press arrow_down_190717.png or arrow_up_190717.png to choose Night vision, then press menu_select.png.

5. Press arrow_down_190717.png or arrow_up_190717.png to choose Set On/ Off, then press menu_select.png.

6. Press arrow_down_190717.png or arrow_up_190717.png to choose Auto, On, or Off, then press menu_select.png to confirm your selection.

  • If you set night vision to Auto, when the baby unit detects low light levels, the infrared LEDs are switched on automatically.

 

Set the brightness of night vision

1. Press menu_select.png when the parent unit is idle.

2. Press arrow_up_190717.pngarrow_down_190717.pngarrow_left_190722.png or arrow_right_190722.png to choose menu_general.bmp, then press menu_select.png

3. Press arrow_down_190717.png or arrow_up_190717.png to choose Camera setting, then press menu_select.png.

4. Press arrow_down_190717.png or arrow_up_190717.png to choose Night vision, then press menu_select.png.

5. Press arrow_down_190717.png or arrow_up_190717.png to choose Brightness, then press menu_select.png.

6. Press arrow_down_190717.png or arrow_up_190717.png to choose the desired brightness level, then press menu_select.png to confirm your selection.

  • It is normal if you see a short white glare on your parent unit screen as the baby unit is adapting to the dark environment.
  • When the infrared LEDs are on, the images are in black and white. This is normal.

Depending on the surroundings and other interfering factors, like lightings, objects, colors and backgrounds, the video quality may vary. Adjust the baby unit’s angle or place the baby unit at a higher level to prevent glare and blurry display.
