Talk to and comfort your baby - VM3254 / VM3254-2

You can use the TALK function of the parent unit to comfort your baby.

1. Press and hold the TALK key on the parent unit. The mute status icon appears on the screen.
2. Speak towards the microphone on the parent unit. Your voice is transmitted to the baby unit.
3. Release the TALK key when you are finished talking and hear your baby again.

NOTES

• The parent unit speaker is muted during voice broadcast. Sound transmission from the baby unit resumes after TALK is released.
• After around 20 seconds of sound re-transmission, the speaker returns to mute if you had set it to mute before pressing TALK.
• The baby unit’s talkback volume can be adjusted via the parent unit menu, see Adjust the baby unit's speaker volume.
