So you have just unboxed your VM818HD, what's next? Follow the video above or the steps below for a basic set up walk-through.
1. Connect and power on the Baby Unit
Connect the baby unit to a power supply with the included power adapter. Make sure you have connected it firmly.
Switch on the baby unit by pushing the Power switch to the left.
2. Connect and power on the Parent Unit
Next, connect the parent unit to a power supply with the included power adapter. Again, make sure the power jack is attached firmly. The parent unit takes eight hours of continuous charging to fully charge and be ready for optimal use. In the meantime, why not take a break or play with the kids?
3. Start up your HD Video Monitor
To start using the monitor, first raise the parent unit's antenna up to receive the best connection signal. Feel free to hold the parent unit in your hands, or open the stand located at the back of the unit and prop the unit up on a flat surface. Press and hold the POWER button until the welcome screen appears. Wait a while for the parent unit and baby unit to connect.
