Basic Set Up - DM1215 / DM1215-2

So you have just unboxed your DM1215/DM1215-2, what's next?
Follow the steps below for a basic set up walk-through.

1. Install the Parent Unit and Baby Unit batteries

The baby unit and parent unit can run on rechargeable battery or AC power. To continuously monitor your baby, it is recommended to use both battery and AC power at the same time.

Install the batteries as shown below:

The parent unit takes eight hours of continuous charging to fully charge and be ready for optimal use. In the meantime, why not take a break or play with the kids?

Note: The battery standby time also varies depending on the sensitivity level you set, your actual use and the age of the batteries.

3. Status check

After you power on both your baby unit and parent unit, the baby unit's power light turns on.

Allow some time for the parent unit and baby unit to connect to each other.

If the parent unit is out of range of the baby unit, or the baby unit is out of power, the parent unit beeps and its LCD displays NOT LINKED. If that occurs:
• Move the parent unit closer to the baby unit.
• Make sure the baby unit is powered on.
